brian hacker maybe has some anger management issues – i met him when one of his friends made him apologize to me for punching out a light during a party at the love shack – a while later i got to talking to him at a party and he mentioned he was looking to start a new band and needed a keyboard player – i hinted that i was interested, but nothing happened – this exchanged happened maybe a dozen times before it finally clicked – i ended up playing bass and the band became frigates – brian played guitar on the first two tracks of tabby road (with frigates band mate marc on the drums) and sang lead vocals on my attempt to imitate curtis mayfield: hey baby (that’s the way that it is)
