matt responded to an ad i put on craigslist looking for a roommate in 2005 – the first image i have of him coming around the corner looking for my place is burned into my brain – matt was around for most of the recording of cat sounds, which was done primarily in our apartment, and got sucked into many of the sessions in addition to the original song he contributed (grey cat strut)
